Premier out-of-home (OOH) media company, BIG OUTDOOR, has recently unveiled a cutting-edge digital platform in the heart of the Times Square bow tie, perched atop the iconic Duane Reade building at the intersection of 50th and Broadway. This dynamic creation, aptly named “The Gateway to Times Square,” comprises two stacked LED displays that boldly face northward, offering extended exposure to the steady flow of traffic entering the bustling hub known as the Crossroads of the World.

Sean McDermott, the Vice President of Real Estate for BIG OUTDOOR, expressed his enthusiasm about this new addition to their digital asset portfolio, underscoring the company’s unwavering commitment to conceptualizing and delivering iconic digital displays in key Designated Market Areas (DMAs) across the United States. He stated, “We are thrilled to introduce The Gateway, affording our clients a unique opportunity to connect with millions of viewers as they step onto the world’s grandest stage, Times Square.”

Both of these outdoor video screens are powered by SNA Displays’ advanced 8 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED display technology and boast a combined canvas spanning an impressive 3,100 square feet, with the larger of the two LED screens occupying the lower position.

Pete Simon, the Director of Sales for SNA Displays, expressed his delight in collaborating with BIG OUTDOOR on yet another awe-inspiring Times Square LED showcase. He highlighted the dual-faced display system’s immense potential as a commanding platform for branding and messaging, conveniently situated at a major entrance to the iconic Times Square, thus making it an ideal choice for advertisers looking to make a significant impact.

The new Gateway to Times Square signage is located at 1627 Broadway in New York City.
