Silkscreen

Etched metal plate
Metal substrate, artwork screen-printed onto it, then the unprinted area is etched away so the graphic stands proud of the plate. On steel or copper the surface is dissolved with acid to a recess and filled with paint — the finish used on hotel and retail plaques.
Print film vs cut vinyl
Print film reproduces a full-colour graphic to the approved artwork. Computer-cut vinyl is a single or multi-colour film with a longer life and no fading. Both die-cut to shape.

Etch + fill for long outdoor life. Screen is faster for indoor directories.
Minimum letter size on a plaque?
Depends on process. Fine legal copy is better etched or engraved than dimensional.
Can this match dimensional letters?
Yes — same metal grade and finish family across a building set.
Do you do wayfinding maps?
Printed or etched maps on metal / acrylic. Complex maps need vector art.
