The turn into early October 2026 kept digital out-of-home and LED fabrication buyers busy across four regions. In Europe, Ströer switched on The Lighthouse—more than 530 square metres of immersive LED—on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn, opening with hour-alternating 3D campaigns from Penny and Hyundai. In North America, Statements Media launched Canada’s first dedicated digital parking-garage advertising network in Toronto Green P facilities, using Media Resources LED walls engineered for dust, vibration and temperature. Southeast Asia mixed City Vision’s Iconic Pacific Place layered LED in Jakarta’s SCBD with Seni Jaya’s seven-year RTS Link advertising concession on the Johor Bahru–Singapore rail corridor. China paired Wuhan’s Optical Valley pedestrian-street naked-eye 3D plaza refresh with INFiLED’s 1,219 m² “Binjiang Light” eight-sided tower screen in Anqing. Japan and Korea stayed in the landmark-and-network lane with LED TOKYO’s two new Osaka outdoor visions and a Korean National Police MoU to run public-safety creatives on Olympic Expressway digital billboards in Yeouido. The procurement pattern is familiar: buyers want destination voltage, IP and structure notes written for the country of install—not a generic export catalogue line.

Europe & North America

On 2 October 2026, invidis reported that Ströer had launched The Lighthouse on Spielbudenplatz along Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. Germany’s out-of-home market leader began building the landmark in July 2026. With more than 530 square metres (about 5,700 square feet) of LED surface, the corner-format screen is larger than Ströer’s Whale at Hamburg central station and is framed for anamorphic 3D. Launch advertisers Penny (Rewe Group) and Hyundai secured 100 percent share of voice for the first weeks, alternating hourly; Penny’s 3D seagull coupon and Hyundai’s oversized Ioniq 3 garage both use the corner architecture. Ströer also noted The Square, a 25-square-metre screen opened on Cologne’s Neumarkt in September 2026 with subsidiary Blowup Media. For fabricators and integrators quoting EU landmark façades, EU 230 V power design, IP-rated outdoor modules, plaza cable routing and anamorphic-ready cabinet geometry belong in the same RFQ as content length and share-of-voice rules.

In Canada, OOH TODAY and Billboard Insider coverage dated late September 2026 describes Statements Media’s launch of large-format digital video walls across downtown Toronto Green P parking facilities—positioned as Canada’s first dedicated digital parking-garage advertising network—powered by Media Resources LED technology. Initial neighbourhoods include Yorkville, the Financial District, Yonge & Eglinton, St. Lawrence Market and Sankofa Square. Each display exceeds 30 square feet near garage entrances and exits; with the digital layer, Statements’ Green P portfolio now exceeds 160 advertising faces. Media Resources’ Jeff Rushton cited specialized cooling and enclosure engineering for dust, vibration and temperature in parking structures. Advertisers gain day-parting, dynamic creative, real-time flexibility and programmatic buying, with further downtown panels planned. Canadian 120 V-class field packages, garage IP/enclosure notes and service access from active parking decks belong on any quotation chasing this environment.

Southeast Asia

On 24–25 September 2026, City Vision launched Iconic Pacific Place LED at Pacific Place in Jakarta’s Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD). ANTARA and CNBC Indonesia describe a three-layered LED concept—marketed as a large interactive OOH canvas—with more than 1,000 square metres of screen area and a live Interactive Launch Moment linking guest phones to the façade. A launch talkshow, “Beyond Visibility: How Brands Win Through Experiences,” ran with brand partners including Savoria, Samsung and BYD, and was also carried on the screen itself. For Indonesia-bound fabricators, the brief is layered façade geometry, tropical IP, high daylight contrast in a corporate-retail plaza, and 230 V electrical design notes—not a flat billboard swap.

Separately, on 1 September 2026 Seni Jaya Corporation Bhd told Bursa Malaysia that its indirect 70%-owned subsidiary SJX Media Sdn Bhd had signed a seven-year advertising concession agreement with Malaysia Rapid Transit System Sdn Bhd (MRTS) for the Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS Link. SJX Media holds exclusive rights to design, procure, manufacture, install, test, commission, operate, maintain and transfer advertising media at designated RTS Link spaces, plus marketing and commercial exploitation at its own cost and risk; MRTS may renew for a further three years. Pre-operational works—including planning, fabrication and commissioning—are to finish within three months of the agreement’s effective date before a notice to proceed. Cross-border transit OOH RFQs should state Malaysia/Singapore 230 V practice, station and corridor structural constraints, and bilingual content ops from day one.

China

On 20–21 September 2026, Wuhan municipal coverage (Changjiang Daily via wuhan.gov.cn) reported that the Optical Valley (Guanggu) pedestrian-street fountain plaza renovation was in final commissioning: sound, lighting, power and naked-eye 3D content were under full debug, with plaza large-screen imagery—elephants, pandas, sharks, astronauts, robots, ocean, volcano and starfield scenes—already drawing passersby. The plaza forms part of the World City Optical Valley walking-street refresh ahead of Mid-Autumn holiday footfall. For China urban-cultural LED packages, buyers should treat plaza 3D shows as a content-plus-hardware stack: pixel pitch for close viewing, night-time glare limits, and export quotations that still name destination voltage when panels leave China.

Earlier in the collection window, INFiLED’s 7 September 2026 case note described Anqing’s “Binjiang Light” (滨江之光): a 1,219 m² eight-sided naked-eye 3D LED wrap on a riverside water tower along Yanjiang East Road, near Yingjiang Temple and Zhenfeng Pagoda, delivered with Anda Chuangzhan. The screen runs about 79.36 m in length around the tower at 15.36 m height, with claimed full-wrap resolution of 19,840 × 3,840; hardware is cited as LX series P4.0, 3,840 Hz refresh, IP65 outdoor modules and low-power design for humid riverside duty. Custom corner cabinets aim to keep 3D content continuous across faces. Factory RFQs for similar tower wraps should lock IP, power draw, corner seam method and destination voltage—EU/UK/AU 230 V or US 120 V—before sample approval.

Japan & Korea

On 25 September 2026, LED TOKYO said it had begun operating two outdoor advertising LED visions in Osaka: Daruma Vision on a rooftop near Tsutenkaku (Ebisu-higashi, Naniwa-ku)—6,000 × 3,000 mm (18 m²), 09:00–24:00 with audio—and Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Vision on the Tenroku Koei Building rooftop about one minute on foot from Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Station—20,000 × 3,000 mm (60 m²), 07:00–24:00, split-screen capable. Both list weekly Monday start cycles and a five-business-day creative deadline. Japan-bound quotes should state Japan 100 V class mains, rooftop wind and structural notes, and night-time luminance limits for dense urban tourism and transit corridors.

In Seoul, Seoul Economic Daily reported on 30 September 2026 that the Korean National Police Agency signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Local Finance Association to broadcast public-safety announcements on large digital outdoor advertising displays along the Yeouido stretch of the Olympic Expressway. October creatives target youth cyber-gambling prevention and traffic safety; November shifts to newer electronic financial fraud (phishing) themes. The association operates the expressway digital inventory; both sides pledged sustained PSA production and working-level cooperation. Networked highway DOOH for Korea still needs high daylight brightness, Korea-ready power and labelling, and CMS workflows that can swap public-interest slots without disrupting paid rotations.

For procurement teams, the week’s message is practical. Immersive corner LED in Hamburg, parking-garage LED walls in Toronto, Jakarta’s layered Pacific Place canvas, RTS Link transit media rights in Johor–Singapore, Wuhan’s plaza 3D refresh, Anqing’s riverside tower wrap, Osaka’s new rooftop visions, and Yeouido expressway PSA inventory all point to the same RFQ hygiene: name the destination country, state the local voltage, require IP and structural notes for outdoor or harsh-environment work, and keep every reference image tied to a verifiable public source page.
